What is it?
The Shepherd’s Center of Webster/Kirkwood, Inc. is an organization of older adults.  We are a member of
Shepherd’s Center of America and Faith in Action.  We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, autonomous, interfaith,
volunteer organization.

What is its purpose?
Our goal is to enable older adults to remain vital and independent.  We celebrate aging by seeing our
senior years as a time that can be filled with creativity, learning and sharing our expertise with others.  
Shepherd’s Center is a place where seniors connect to laugh, learn and lend a hand.

What are the programs and services?
Our Shepherd’s Center offers something for all.  We have Adventures in Learning classes, Shepherd’s
Travelers, A Resource Center, Transportation Ministry, Handy Hands and Chores Galore.  

Who does the work?
Volunteers

How is it financed?
As a not for profit, we are funded through individual contributions, program fees, grants, Congregations,
annual fund raising efforts.  All contributions are tax deductible.  We host two annual fund raising events:  
in April is Taste of Webster/Kirkwood and in September is our annual Birthday Celebration.

Where is it located?
Our offices are located on the lively lower level of the Christian Life Center of Webster Hills United
Methodist Church, 1333 W. Lockwood Ave. Glendale, MO 63122. (On the northwest corner of Berry and
Lockwood Roads)
